CCE Pattern

Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation for Holistic Learning

Modern Assessment

What is CCE?

Aligned with the National Education Policy, Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) aims to revolutionize assessment to optimize learning and development for all students.

Semester System: The academic year is divided into two semesters, ensuring a balanced syllabus division. CCE incorporates two types of tests: formative and summative.

This approach supports the new 5+3+3+4 system, facilitating a smooth transition from preschool to higher classes.

Formative Assessment

Summative Assessment

Periodic evaluations at the end of each term to measure overall achievement.

Holistic Evaluation

Assessment of co-curricular activities, projects, teamwork, and public speaking.

Grade-Based System

Grades replace marks for a comprehensive view of student abilities.

Formative Assessment

Formative tests assess various skills such as work experience, innovation, teamwork, and public speaking, along with class performance, homework, projects, and participation in activities.
